Narrow the person, moment and pain until outreach becomes obvious.
A market is something you describe in a pitch deck. A buyer is someone you can message tonight. Until you have the second one, outreach stays vague and every message you write sounds like every other message they ignore.
Narrow in three passes
Person: their role and their constraint, not their age bracket. "Owner-operator with two staff" beats "SME".
Moment: the specific trigger that makes the problem urgent this week. Restock day. Month-end reconciliation. The day a rider disappears with goods.
Consequence: what it costs them when it goes wrong, in naira or in reputation. If you cannot state this, you cannot price.
Write the result as one sentence and put it where you will see it: "I help [person] who [moment] stop [consequence]." If the sentence needs a comma-separated list to feel complete, you have not narrowed enough.
Turn this into your next move.
